Ans. name of the horizontal line =x anis and the name vertical line y-anis at the Cartesian plane

Ans. the name of each portion of the plane formed by these two lines are called as quadrants (  part of plane)

3. Write the name of point where these two lines intersect each other?

The name of point where two lines intersect each other is known as origin.

II. From the figure write the following

a. the coordinates of B.

and the coordinates of B is (-5, 2)

b. the coordinates of C.

c. points identified by the coordinates
